Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a hustler’s mentality and be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they align with business goals and client expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product management and vendors to drive successful project outcomes. The candidate will be joining the Technical Business Unit of VTT Mobility, operating under eTravelmate Private Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
– Project Planning and Management:
– Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
– Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
– Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
– Communication
– Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
– Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
– Technical Oversight:
– Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.
– Evaluate technical solutions and provide guidance on best practices and methodologies.
– Identify potential technical challenges and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
– Quality Assurance:
– Ensure projects meet quality standards and deliverables are thoroughly tested before release.
– Conduct product testing to validate functionality, performance, and user experience.
– Develop and implement testing strategies and plans.
– Product Demonstration:
– Prepare and deliver product demonstrations to stakeholders, showcasing features and benefits.
– Gather feedback during demos to inform future development and improvements.
– Industry Expertise Development:
– Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
– Develop expertise in the relevant industry to provide informed insights and recommendations.
– Stakeholder Management:
– Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
– Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns or issues promptly.
– Account Management:
– Contribute to strengthening customer relationships through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
– Proactive account farming, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting periodic business reviews, including WBRs, MBRs, and QBRs
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence is preferred
– 3-4 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role in a technology-driven environment.
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
– Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
– Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Self-motivated and a hustler in nature, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
– Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
